Im not sure how I feel about this design, and kind of agree with the author's review. But all in all I think its a nice try at recycling.

Keep up the good work inventor lady! picked by muppetmaker 2 months ago

Ah, thank god. The number of times I've bought an umbrella when it begins to rain, only to throw it at wildlife when it stops... Finally a solution!

There's a big difference between eco-friendly and just plain unnecessary. I mean, it's an inventive invention, but the inventor could have turned the inventivity to inventing something worth inventing.

Also, hi. *Waves*

Let me get this straight...

Normal umbrella:
Umbrella has its own fabric to keep the rain off.
Newspaper gets read, then thrown away/recycled.

UnBrella:
Newspaper gets put on umbrella with no fabric of its own, then thrown away/recycled.

What exactly is the environmental benefit of this thing?

This umbrella would last about three seconds in the rain... but think of the trees you're saving. I mean... wasting. Damn.
