However, after reading the literature that was presented to me, it sounds more like both parties (Sony & Immersion) have accepted defeat and that Sony and Microsoft both own parts of Immersion. I agree with Sony's appeal that the technology that was used in the DualShock controllers was similar, but wasn't the same. However, I commend you on your research and have decided to award you compensation of 5 random upvotes for my lack of research further into this case. I did read aboot this while it was happening, but the last I had heard was that Sony and Immersion had come to an agreement.
