My son learned the difference in 8th grade, they did not learn in this school district (This is in Texas) the Geography of Europe before. So to me the whole show seems to be scripted. But if it is scripted they surely noticed the letter "a" between the g and r. It is Hungary not Hungry. No English Irish German French or Russian has ever any problem with pronouncing that "a" between the g and r. 99% of Americans does not have any problem either. They might pronounce it on different ways, but that is OK, since they made an attempt. That just reinforces my suspicion that the show is scripted.
