I had read this article several years ago, and have actually used this methodology to predict epicenters of small local quakes!

I haven't seen any of these 'lantern' clouds of late, but thanks for the reminder!

Thanks for identifying the clouds!..I'm a bit of a weather junkie and wondered what kind they were. Wish I could find a pic, google had (surprisingly) nuttin'. :/
