Let it fade away like many other unused accounts. No need to down vote. Just log out of Spamtrap and never go back, even for FAF. If you start using both accounts at the same time, it will quickly become evident.

Spam/Skandar, you've been a good, senior Plimate for a long time and you know how things are done here. I think you can be trusted to continue to be a good Plimate as Skandar Akbar.

I say don't dwell on it. There are a billion inactive accounts on Plime. As long as you aren't posting from both, it doesn't really matter if it's just forgotten about. I trust that you aren't going to go wreaking havoc from multiple accounts. What would be the point anyway? Just let it fade away. Like some of the other anonymous accounts people have made. It would be an unnecessary wast of time for people to downvote it a billion times. What would that accomplish? It would just stop you from using something you've already stopped using.

Anybody see where I'm going with this?

I guess I don't see the value in having it used for that, either. There are plenty of 20+ folks who can handle spammers, so it's not like it will fill a void.

I say just let it go, or have a third party change the password. Downvoting it would create the impression that the account was somehow bad, or guilty of some violation.

that is a very good concern, but i didn't mean to imply to give everyone full access to the account ... i don't know who controls Spamblaster, but i bet it's a small group of high-standing Plime vets. i ment to give that group of plimates Spamtrap. but i don't know who they are ... one of them might be reading this thread soon.

Yes, I agree it needs to be downvoted. There is just too many problems/drama that could arise from people's mis-perception of the extra account.

More importantly it sets a bad precedent.

If the account is being abandoned then it shouldn't matter what ranking it has.

NO way can we bother Jax with such a thing. He would not be pleased.

The name Skandar Graun is from a book that I liked a lot when I was a kid, and my son has read it lately. The choice of username is a bit contingent or haphazard, but also unique (I dont use it anywhere else), and something that carries a little fragment of my past.
Skandar Graun is somewhat chaotic half orc with a good heart, he is also my avatar as for this week.

I am having an identity crisis.
The spamtrap account was meant to be temporary, and I chose this week to swap to something permanent. You see I use samtrap on the net as throwaway account. I just don't want to use it here any longer. Except for FAF.
Probably I would like to be my old self for FAF, but that's it.

As up and downvotes are considered: it is not that I am neglecting anyone, I just think it is better if I don't use my old account for that. I will not give out 25s for upvote, but just as well I will not downvote with this strength either. First I was thinking about logging in at once at the end of every day and just upvote the post from my old account that I consider the best one of the day, but than I decided against this too, because I will forget about it anyway soon, and I will be too lazy to switch the account and such.

Yep I think that's it. If you guys don't come up with some idea, a way I could put my old account to good use, I am abandoning it (except for FAF).
