Before I read this (before I knew what it was really about) I thought of my sister-in-law who orders her steaks "like shoe leather". She is teaching that to her daughter. My daughter, on the other hand, will have better taste in her steak ordering. Not still mooing but not overdone either. Just right!

I've a friend who travels through Europe on business a lot. In Belgium, he was banned from a restaurant because some of the people he was with ordered their steak well done.

They take their steak seriously in Belgium.
