 The living dolls
The living dolls
Meet two people who have succeeded in realizing a childhood fantasy that so many of us harbor - to look like Barbie and Ken. Whether they are shallow and dumb to have not outgrown their childhood fantasy and have used their considerable money unwisely or are they pioneer "designer people"?, its open to debate. picked by neilharvey 9 months ago

Barbie is a toy and should be viewed as such. I grew up with barbies. I never wanted to be her. I just liked to comb her hair, and stuff. I had oodles of clothes for her--some of which were home made. If you want to look like a barbie doll more power to ya, but as for me, I will stay real.

I grew up with Lego Men.

Needless to say, I'm not willing to take the necessary steps...

For me it was Stretch Armstrong. With tragic consequences.

If you read her site (linked to on that blog), she doesn't have Barbie Syndrome. She did this because she felt plain and unattractive.

Not my choice for self improvement, but if she's happier now, why judge?
