My gyno always shakes my hand. I shake it out of courtesy but I always marvel at how incredibly soft they are.

After one of my gyn visits, my husband asked me how it went, and I think my response pretty much sums up how I feel about doctors: "Not good. It's too tempting to kick her in the face while she's right there."

The pictures were worse than the stories.

I've been told I have a lovely uterus by more than one gyno. I never quite know how to take it.

No one has ever told me I had a lovely "anything." How should I take that?

I usually saw the only female ob/gyn in my 3-doctor ob's office. One particular day, I had to see one of the male docs. They want you to see each dr. at least once in case your dr. is out of town or something when you go into labor.

Anyways, he asks about my birth plan, and I told him what my husband and I had decided on, and his response was:

"Oh. Natural, huh? I never like the natural births. The mothers are so much more serious than the ones who have an epidural."

Yeah, he was a d**k.

I will only go to a female because of an experience I had with a male Dr. when I was in my early 20's.

He was being a bit rough and I squirmed so he says to me "Oh, I'm sorry, did that hurt?" and I said, "yes, actually it did". He then says to me, "well, your having sex aren't you" in a very bitter tone.

Huh? WTF??

I was so tempted to say yea, but normally I don't ask my partner to shove a hot piece of metal spreaders up me and then spear me like a shish kabob, you b*stard.

I love my wife's gyno/obgyn he is a really awesome guy. I liked him to begin with and liked him more after I watched him perform my wife's C-section on our first son. What sealed my man love for my wife's OB/GYN is when I found out that HIS wife is the head nurse in his practice. If you are going to be a guy who deals in female matters and family medicine I think it give much credence and comfort to patients to know that it is a family affair. My wife didn't even know that the nurse who was often present in the exam room was his wife until after she had been a patient for 4 years, after she knew she liked him even more.

Okay... My wife's ob/gyn is a rather attractive blonde woman who isn't much older than us and for a split second during one of the checkups, I... you know... thought about it...

Aw, man. I feel kinda sorry for the ladies who seem... you know, so embarrassed about their parts.

I am so happy to say that my doctor uses a plastic one lol. Although, she isn't too gentle, she is kind of a get in get out kind of doctor. She also gives me s**t for smoking every time I see her lol.
I had to get a pap from one female doctor that like talked me through the whole thing in this calm psychologist type voice, I don't know what it worse, psychologist voice or get in get out kind of visit.
