I have minors in two of those and have taken classes in a few others. I aspire to be useless.

I'm surprised Film was number 2. I already knew communications was useless as all my friends who majored it had no idea what they wanted to do with themselves.

Pretty much the truth. I know a guy that has a B.A. in philosophy but drives a delivery truck. I was like "wow, what a waste of 4 years and who knows how much money".

I hate most of these top lists, but this one was hilarious!

If they were realizing how much money they were flushing away, they'd be business majors.

I don't understand honestly why anyone would go for one of those majors. It's like, "hey I don't wanna make any money". Doesn't take a business major to figure that one out.

So so true. Seeing as how US history spans, at best, 400 years, and is about as intriguing as this turkey on wheat that I'm eating, it's also probably the lamest one on the list. Besides, you already knew it all by 4th grade.

Yay, I didn't waste my tuition money! My major is not in the list. Considering I only chose that major because there were lots of cute guys in that department...

My major is not on the list - I have a bachelor's in acting. Now, I figured it was useless when I got it, but oddly enough, a couple of years ago it landed me a job teaching Acting at a college, so there.

But otherwise, yeah, useless. No one in the professional theatre world holds it against you that you don't have a degree, you won't lose any parts over it. In fact, many many famous and infamous actors didn't even make it through high school.

Mine arent on the list either. I liked #1 it made me laugh - religion.

I have a Psychology degree but had to get a Law degree to get a job...

And how do you feel about that?

Well I knew that I would have to get a job at TGI Fridays unless I got a graduate degree and I can't do math so by process of elimination I chose Law..

Maybe not the best choice. But at least I can make a living.

Interestingly enough, not all people choose their major according to "hey, I want to make lots of money". It'd be a hell of a poor world if we all majored in law or business.
