Okies first one: It's a arty farty video page which feature someone who goes online and downloads a virtual baby. Halfway through there is a problem with the credit card billing and the baby becomes disconnected. The person just downloads another baby but the original one is left on its own for a few minutes before being deleted. Really sad, really shocking. It's a cg video page and also features a video which has people with pig masks on.

Second one is a video done to the song "Not even jail" by Interpol. It used to be on the Interpol website. It's a claymation type video with the main character waking up each morning and putting on a mask before entering the outside world. One day he wakes up and all the masks that his mask making machine give him are ugly and grotesque, he goes outside without a mask and people point and stare then one by one take their own masks off. (moral being: it's not the mask one wears but the person underneath that counts)

I know there are a lot of web geeks and arty types on here and I would love to see these videos again.

The Baby one was last seen by me about 3 years ago and the Interpol one was only last year.

Any help at all would be great.

they are. Well at least I think so. Trouble is I have had 4 PC's since I first saw them so keeping them as favourites has been troublesome.

I have as best I can. The trick is knowing what to search for. Internet baby, virtual baby, online baby, Note Even Jail, Not Even Jail animation, claymation all bring up thousands of videos.

Hummm.. Yeah, I guess the number of hits an almost any search would be inundating.

Deffo not a dream. It would have been almost 5 years ago that I saw it. It wasn't your usual video style page but more a folio of works done by the same author. very high quality cg animations.
It was around about the same time as the Rubber Johnny video hit the interwebz.

I usually try google when I can't find a web page. It's a pretty neat site. You just type in some key words or phrases related to what you're looking for, then click "search." You should check it out.

Is the first one an animation?

It's a cg animation. The baby is in a box like an incubator, the person who downloaded it can't actually touch it but using *cyber gloves* can hold it in virtual space. the box is reddish pink in colour and the baby looks almost cartoon like but not quite.

I can't actually watch it myself here on this PC because whenever I download Quicktime or a .mov codec it messes up all my other codecs and I can't watch any other video except .mov.

For the record: I googled "virtual baby animation" and it was the fifth result down.
