Companies that assign addresses for Web sites appear to be cutting corners on security more when they assign names in certain domains than in others, according to a report to be released Wednesday by antivirus software vendor McAfee Inc.

Like we didn't know that Chinese domains are a threat? Just read an article[1]the other day about how China may be using counterfeit Cisco routers to penetrate U.S. networks. China is out to leverage every possible technical advantage they can gain on the U.S. They are not friends of the U.S. but they are simply mascarading as such until they have what they need. I believe China is preparing for massive scale information warfare.

Friendship does not exist within capitalism! Mascarading is the name of the game as long as the money flows.

The new version of AVG scans each site before you go to it and tells you whether it's safe. AVG 8.0 I think.
