Started in Sydney, Australia in 2007, Earth Hour quickly grew into a global observance. Nice images, I turned off all my lights at 9:30 local time, when I went to bed.

Awesome pictures.

I was going to leave a snarky comment about the fact that all of the pictures would be black. Although I'm glad to have seen the actual and very neat fade to lights out pics.

Side note though, Earth Hour is still a pretty empty gesture.

We went outside to try to take pictures here in the San Fernando Valley. We couldn't notice any change from our vantage point, so we went inside and read by candlelight. Very relaxing and enjoyable, so that is a good reason to keep doing it, although I agree, it doesn't really make an impact - yet!

I turned on a couple of extra lights to compensate for the sudden surplus power in the electrical grid.
