Imagine the uses in medicine (surgery), tending for the elderly and disabled, and especially in the area of prosthetic limbs. Wow.

On a completely different note, and completely unrelated to the matter, I couldn't help but chuckle when I noticed the man with the funny helmet was wearing Crocs - over his socks. :P
