I was at this 6th game at Shea Stadium.

The good: Mets rallied with two out, bases empty and Boston has a three run lead.

The bad: Because it's two out with bases empty and a three run lead, my wife and I leave. Almost immediately we hear the crowd cheering the first hit. We were able to follow the game through the enormous amount of people who are in the parking lots with radios. We pick up more of the game on our car radio and hear the winning run score while we're at the toll booth of the Whitestone bridge.
All traffic stops and people leave their cars waving their arms and cheering. A pretty amazing and unexpected sight.

Bottom line: Yogi is right; "It ain't over 'till it's over."
