There are some good tools and resources to thwart the debt issue, at least on a person by person basis, which is a start. The problem is that people don't want a solution, they only want what they want, and not what they need. I offered a lady a solution to her debt problems, and she told me that she is just going to drown in her debts. That was the end of my conversation with her. I'm sure she has completely drowned by now. I should follow up with her to see if she could use the life preserver, now.
