I saw this last night. I got kinda teary...

Reminds me so much of this. It just goes to show you that people are more than just what they happen to look like. I really wish her mom could have seen her.

I haven't heard her sing, but I read about her newfound fame.

I feel sorry for her. Not only because she has a little bit of a sad past, but because now she'll be bombarded with suitors (most likely)...but only as long as she can maintain the fame.

No. She has a social awkwardness that you can't fake and it never waivers even after she gets chosen. If she's a fake she's as good an actress as a singer.

Not sure what you mean by this. She admitted she'd had professional voice lessons in the past, but that's common among lots of BGT contestants, Paul Potts included.

Just thinking out loud, really. It wasn't meant to be insulting. I think she has an incredible voice.

I have watched this a few times now. And I still keep thinking the same thing. I wish the damn audience would shut the hell up so i can hear her!
