'They called me Susie Simple', but Susan Boyle is the one laughing now
'They called me Susie Simple', but Susan Boyle is the one laughing now
Susan Boyle is not entirely unused to fame.

She was well known in the village where she has lived all her life as the slightly batty spinster who lived alone with her cat, Pebbles.

Every village has one, and 48-year-old Susan Boyle, who was born with minor brain damage and has learning difficulties, obligingly played the role to which she had been cast. picked by bingo 7 months ago

I really like her, and I like hearing her story.

Her FAF seal could be "You're never too old to follow your dream"

That or "Cover =/ Book"

Definitely Cover =/= Book! Don't judge us frumpy women, we have talents you cannot fathom!

I wondered if she was blind, she has the look and is in the proper age range for the people who were blinded from the oxygen levels in their basinette/respirators....

Such a voice! I hope to get her album(s) when they come out, and I would ADORE hearing her duet with Paul Potts, another "meh" looking person with the voice of an angel!

LOL @ the look on Simon Cowell's face in the YouTube videos, he was probably thinking, "Royalties... Cha Ching!!"

This story gets better and better. I'm thankful that she put the hairbrush down and picked the microphone up, she makes me happy to be alive.

To see her so happy makes me happy. I hope she doesn't change one single bit.
