A dolphin at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan has been given a new lease of life, after being fitted with an artificial fin. Unfortunately, it can only swim with it for a few hours at a time before it must be removed. picked by Browntrout 3 years ago

The dolphin seemed to be doing quite well in the water after the fin was removed.

I was surprised @ how well it did too. If he/she could jump out of the water like that still it would seem, for a captive dolphin, that the fin isn't as important as one would think.
