Unfair?

Nature doesn't understand 'fair' versus 'unfair'.

I can understand that people are getting emotionally involved with the animals, and I really hope that they're learning something from this, but too many people are detached from wildlife and don't understand that this is how it works. Animals that don't survive to reproduce IMPROVE the overall population.

When I'm out fishing, I look for the nests to see how they are doing.
The sizes are pretty incredible.
I'm more upset that a neighbor built a house where a golden eagle's tree was and now I don't see him anymore.

I think the chicks on Catalina are doing OK, and I believe this is their cam




They're ugly...but cute.
