The problem is the media gets themselves in a frenzy trying to tear down anyone who approaches 'heroism'.  Michael Phelp's story on the pages wasn't about how he was a great athelete, but how once..  way back years ago...  he might or might not have taken a hit of pot.  OMG!  Stop the presses!<br/><br/>Frankly, I find more beauty in a snowflake than I do in a diamond. To satisfy any criticism of their collection they must include the commoners and the 180lb, size 14 &quot;fat&quot; people, but they can be safely ignored while the ravening populace gluts themselves on their idolic indulgance. <br/><br/>Think about how Susan Boyle took crap when all she did was get a hair cut - The people don't want commoners to become idols, Americans and a good portion of the world sadly, wants to idolize thin, rich, white, American celebrities. We are impoverished of spirit as a species.
