By the way, if anyone is thinking about buying one of these on ebay, you'd be wise to wait a few months when the price will almost certainly be much much lower.
That's the problem with card companies like Topps or Upper Deck...they are literally printing money.
I knew a guy (who will remain nameless) that used to work for Pinnacle Trading Cards. They did a first run of some football cards and one particular player had an error on the card.....that was put there on purpose. A few employees pulled these error cards off the stack and kept them....then they corrected the error and had a second print run.
The error card was released (in very limited amounts) to the public and these two employees each had basically printed themselves a few hundred dollars worth of trading cards.....
I have one this so called error cards, it's a rookie card of Juan Gonzalez with the photo reversed. After reading your post, makes me wonder if it's an honest mistake.

That one was probably an honest mistake. That set (1990 Donruss) had numerous errors.
