Sorry, this is total bullshit. She was surprised to win. Now losing she can't take it anymore?

Lay off the lady, god damn. The shallow ass tabloids can't handle someone who isn't pretty being a good, talented person; they have to make her into some kind of media joke and/or bitter spinster.

I don't think there is a person in the world who could go from anonymity to media darling/victim overnight like that and not snap.

She was on her way there before she lost, as evidenced by her final performance, which was tentative and uninspired. (To quote Simon, Sorry, but....) I feel for her, it was too much fame too quickly and she was already dealing with a mental handicap from being oxygen deprived at birth. I'm also proud of her, she fulfilled the promise made to her mother to sing on TV one day, and she did it extremely well. I HOPE that she's given space to process all this after she's out of the hospital, and that the future treats her kindly. Well done, Susan.

People must remember that she does have a diminished mental capacity, so coping with loss is probably something she does not do well.

I feel sorry for her. She's been hounded by the media and had alot of pressure put on her to win.

Get some rest, Susan. Take some time for yourself.
