I searched for years for the old Marathon bars, to no avail. Not the newer, Snickers-style contraption, the old, latticed caramel and chocolate, like the UK Curly Wurly, only with a sweet ruler on the back.

I stopped eating sugar about six years ago, but I think if either candy bar had been available, it might have been a deal breaker.

My sister and I exchange bad candy.

Not candy that's actually GONE bad, but candy that's bad, either is concept, or appearance, or just so awesomely bad that it has to be shared.

Sadly, there's nothing on this list that we haven't swapped.

Do eet!!!

It is a blast. We've been doing the bad candy exchange for more than a decade. We do themes (bad candy associated with a movie, bad gummies, candy Barbie, etc), and it's always a giggle when we hand over the goods.

Plus, it's something fun to look for, everywhere we go. On a drive across country? Check for bad candy at all gas stations. Stuck killing time waiting for car repair? Go to that little corner market and peruse for bad candy!

What happened to Worms n Dirt?

Basically, it was just gummi worms in crushed Oreos, but those were around some 20 years ago.
