How can any sane court make that ruling???

Worse, this is overruling a lower courts decision that she was NOT at fault.

Seems like there was a lot of drama in her life and career, though, so maybe this clause was included specifically because they worried? I don't know. They were rewarded less than half what they sued for though, so that's a positive.

Thank goodness that whole 'failure to maintain a decent image' thing didn't come as a result of her death...

Decay tends to make one's visage rather unpleasant.

Actually, that would make a lot more sense, as she committed suicide.

I think it's a stretch to make her pay for anything someone else did to her, though, but I suspect the article is a bit too small (or her life story a bit too large) to understand what the ruling is based upon.

Personally, I would have liked to see them sue her husband.
