My local "Six Flags" dropped the title last year. Apparently it wasn't a bad decision.

This park has been going down hill steadily since it became Six Flags... in the '80's! Hubby used to work there when the original family owned it, and he LOVED it, he worked the various stage shows and fireworks show. He learned his craft well and is still friends with several of his co-workers from that time!

I haven't been to the park itself since then, we saw open drug use, open theft, and uncaring teenage staffers. Safety has been an issue as well.

The water park was ok, but they raised the parking rates every year by several dollars each time, it's not worth the money anymore....
