Koogle The Kosher Search Engine
The search engine, Koogle, omits religiously objectionable material, such as most photographs of women which Orthodox rabbis view as immodest. Its links to Israeli news and shopping sites also filter out items most ultra-Orthodox Israelis are forbidden by rabbis to have in their homes, such a television sets. picked by 2manyusernames 6 months ago

It's hard to read koogle in Hebrew. I wonder if they will have an English language version.

"If you try to buy something on the Sabbath, it gets stuck and won't let you."
Reminds me of another web site....

There seems to be a surprising large group on Earth that don't trust their own instincts and need filtered information.

Damn. Get a working brain.

I used to do computer jobs for a guy who wanted me to install a content filter.

I found this curious and told him so because he lived on his own.

The impression I got from his stuttered and mumbling response was that he disapproved of porn but didn't trust himself not to look at it.

Of course it's possible that this was the equivalent of an ex alcoholic asking me to put a lock on the liquor cabinet.
