I'll never understand what possesses people (or rather horrible excuses for people) to do things like this.

There's a lot to be said for keeping your cats indoors. So many awful things can happen to them. our cat only went out with us, and then on a leash. There are too many nasties out there who love to maim animals. It's so sad.

Exactly what Prish said. Our kitties stay indoors and only my Stanley gets to go out on the deck when we are there to watch him.

Poor thing had to get all the way home like that. There is something to be said about the perseverance of a kitty. Glad Dave is doing well.

Inside cats are always scared of everything.

Outside cats are always much friendlier and cooler with people, probably because they face danger constantly but know they can handle it. Cats are smart, most smart enough to avoid cars, which in my book is good enough.

You can't do anything about a freak cross-bow incident here or there...

Yea we never let Mr. Fox out unless we're there, too many creepers and he's too amazing for average human contact. Locking eyes with him would impart so much wisdom into a person at once they would explode.

well anyways, my cat would kill the people as soon as they even thought about shooting him with anything because he happens to be a ninja.

edit: as i posted this i heard my cat getting into a fight outside my window. how shameful.
