Morning people and night owls show different brain function (w/Video)
Morning people and night owls show different brain function (w/Video)
Are you a "morning person" or a "night owl?"

Scientists at the University of Alberta have found that there are significant differences in the way our brains function depending on whether we're early risers or night owls. picked by AutumnLotus 5 months ago

What about those of us who easily stay up really late and also get up really early with no problem?

I've had friends who could do this ... that was in college. Believe me , it goes away.

I'm 36. Definitely out of college. I've been told it will get better, and in some ways, it has. It used to be 2-3 hours was enough. :D

yeah...what if you are neither, as in having the most energy in the middle of the day?
...Maybe I'm just lazy? haha.

but, I have noticed that it depends on what you do on a regular basis. I know that if I am closing at work a lot, i definitely have more energy at night, but if I switch to opening, after a few days doing that I'm always awake really early.
I think it just depends on your lifestyle.

The truly disappointing part is how few businesses and such are open really early and really late. I'm awake at 3 most mornings, but there's no point in getting up because I can't do stuff around the house (don't want to wake my husband) and no stores I want to shop at are open either. Living in a smaller town really highlights this problem.

We all have to shoehorn ourselves into the world of the "normal" folk and get categorised for attempting to deviate?
