One of the five teens beat the man with a bat and others punched him, police said. The man was treated at a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening, and was released that night.

If she honestly thought the man was assaulting the 34-year-old woman, then I cannot blame her or her friends about beating the sh*t out of him.
I guess it's a 16-year-old girl living in a very unhealthy environment. Not sure if the 34 yo is her mom or not, but that woman should at least made sure the girl felt safe enough with that guy in the house, even if she did hear some noise.

I agree, a lot of the story is missing, but *if* they heard her scream (or moan/groan) and thought she was being attacked, I don't think you'd stop and ask the 'attacker' what he's doing...

I agree.

I think the only part of the story that's true is the part where a teenage daughter and a bunch of her friends beat the crap out of a guy that was having sex with her mom.
