If it had been some a*****e boy who carried out this behavior would we put him in jail?

I'm sure most of us know that you can only believe a small amount of strangers in chat rooms and the like.

My oldest is 13 with her own computer and I know that she is not chatting with kids she doesn't know in the real world. I raised her to be more savy than that. At 13 boys just don't come out of the woodwork to flirt with an unknow girl on the web. Instead of being some b***h with an axe to grind, this fake personna could have been a serial rapist.

I'm so sorry for this family but this wasn't like a bully at school. This was a bully online where you have the choice to turn the PC off. As soon as the conversations went sour she had a choice.

As for Lori Drew. I think she is getting her day in the court of public opinion. And with her not serving any time, I think the public outrage with her will be ever worst. Instead of sitting in a cell where she can tell herself she is a victim, she will have to walk the streets of her town as a permanent pariah.
