This is most likely completely justified and a reasonable temporary move. Still I can't help but imagine the uproar if a republican proposed doing this.

Ugh. Seriously. If Bush had tried to do this, the Democrat apologists would be all over him.

But since Obama is the Chosen leader, they support everything he does.

It sounds similar to the Republicans during Bush's term, but still.

Just a reminder, guys. Bush passed the totally unconstitutional Patriot Act with almost no opposition.

Honestly, I'm sick of the whining and boohooing about how unfair it is that Obama is popular (the Messiah/Chosen One s**t is really getting old, not to mention insulting to all of us that voted for him). Right now, his party is in the majority so, yes, he's going to have an easier time of getting a bill passed than a Republican. That's what a majority does. This isn't a playground, it's politics. Everyone doesn't get a fair turn.

And do you honestly think the Republicans aren't going to throw a collective s**tfit over this? Believe me, there will be an uproar. They've tried to block everything Obama's attempted thus far, regardless of whether or not it's "justified". If you're going to complain about partisanship, I think you're pointing fingers in the wrong corner.
