A group of Muslims are making demands and threats that their religious holidays be recognized as official school holidays. Bloomberg is trying to stand up to them stating the logical problem of adding every religious holiday to the school calendar. That and the school holidays are not really "christian" in celebration. A Christmas tree has zero to do with Christ's birth. picked by 2manyusernames 5 months ago tags bloomberg lawsuit discrimination muslim holidays |

But wait. Don't get all uppity. Despite the views of obnoxious bigots, this makes perfect sense. To make up for the extra holiday, one was removed. picked by 2manyusernames 1 year ago 24 comments edit related share plime.com |

It’s still meaningful, and ... read full post picked by wags273 2 years ago 7 comments edit related share plime.com |

I don't mean to be one, but I can't help getting the mean side of me OUT this season. After Valentines Day, Christmas is one of my most detested holidays. No, Santa didn't skip my chimney the other year, and there's nothing wrong with my brain. I'm sure there are hoards of us who don't like the Christmas season.
