Hindu's are not the target market for meat pedlars Burger King. BK aren't going to feel the impact of a Hindu boycott of their cow sandwiches.

Point 2

Worldwide, how much free advertising are BK getting right now over this?

Nothing "got past" their marketing department - this was well considered, deliberate and if you ignore the ethics of it rather cunning.

I was just thinking about the idea of a Jesus burger...just one...with maybe a Virgin Mary bun...sure only one restaurant would benefit from the resulting crown of Catholics and skeptics...unless you took it on on the road!!!
