Dear Councilman,

One fine day while I was enjoying a stroll through Heritage Park I almost had to adjust my stride and step out of the way of a fast moving air disk. I was so mortified by the incident I swore never to stroll in Heritage Park while frisbees could be thrown willy nilly. I decided to instead move my stroll destination to Boling Park where I found the situation was far worse with footballs and baseballs flying so quickly and every which way. When did our towns parks become such havens for balls? It's a problem that needs to be addressed and as a concerned taxpayer of Canton I think they should be banned.

This is how it is in Germany (or was back in the early 80s anyway). No playing in parks, you don't go on the grass at all. Parks are for looking at, apparently.

We had to take our Frisbee to an open field (likely someone's property) to play Frisbee football. Fortunately, the property owner had no issue with it.

People have been playing ball in parks since they invented parks. People have been strolling in parks since they invented parks. I can't believe this is the best compromise they could come up with. I can't even believe there needs to be a compromise.

OMG, this totally explains my frequent migraines! Sadly there is no known cure except to maybe cease the stupid ones from breeding.

What's next, no swimming at the pool because you could get splashed?
