Interesting article, but everything seemed pretty obvious to me. Also I didn't find messing with my privacy settings for any social networking site to be very difficult at all. I did it once back in the day, once when they enhanced it and that was it.

But I guess there are some people who can't grasp technology as quickly as others, internet attacks still DO happen unfortunately.

The world wide web... it basically stands for "no privacy." That's just the way it is. The only thing you can do is attempt to hide certain things from certain people. Social networks have huge flaws regarding this for sure. I found this security/privacy setting article for noobs:
