The findings have emerged from a series of studies of physical attractiveness and its links to reproductive success in humans. In a study released last week, Markus Jokela, a researcher at the University of Helsinki, found beautiful women had up to 16 per cent more children than less attractive women.

I think this scientific fact has come up before. My wife is gorgeous and we have 5 kids. So proof positive that good looking women are more successful in reproducing.
Of course kakana also has a point. All women are beautiful. Just none as good looking as my wife (admittedly I might have a bias).

Did I mention my wife is good looking (and sometimes reads what I've posted on Plime)

so, is this "survival of the fittest" in action then? the problem with that of course, would be that the men they choose to be with are probably more often wealthy than good looking. so wouldn't that offset it?
