Full disclosure: I had this guy as a professor, and read his blog while in his class. Then I left his class, stopped checking, and he resigned under accusations he stole $500ish.

I was checking my old links and discovered he's still posting.

I think, despite his personal missteps, the information he gives here is a great resource. There's just a lot of information I, as a not-math-person, just didn't know or wouldn't think about.
