some people use the term "reverse racism" for this sorta thing but really its just racism. I have faith it will eventually die out. People are racist because of bad experiences and because of their upbringing (parents talking trash about other cultures) then its past down generation after another. Eventually it will die out.

Not at all. It's a place for black people to discuss controversial issues online without with other people who share their experiences.

I think any kind of oppressed group should be entitled to have safe space like this.

EDIT: I should add however that a lot of the views expressed on that on that site are very extreme, many to the point that I might call them racist. However, a forum that only allows black members is not itself inherently racist.

ANOTHER EDIT: I'm also pretty sure we're seeing Poe's law in effect here. I think this site is a joke, possibly started by people who hate Obama trying to stir up controversy.

I don't disagree on this point. However, the content on the site is most certainly racist, what with their stereotyping of whites as "rednecks", "crackers", and "white devils". You know that any site which promoted itself as "white only" and used derogatory terms for non-whites would be labeled racist in the blink of an eye, and rightly so.Yeah, some of it is too over-the-top to be believable. Either way, it is just plain disgusting.

I'm white and not offended in the least that I'm excluded from this forum..but, right, do take issue with some of the "silly, small-minded" comments because that's just what they are.

Side note:

Those people may be considered racist. The forum however does not seem in any way to be endorsed by Obama himself. I wonder whether a hypothetical forum by, let's say, these people, named - just for the sake of argument - "Republican White Pride Forum", would get the same attention. And that, my fellow plimates, is where the inherent racism is.
