How does Fox keep getting away with this? How many times can you call it a "mistake"? picked by shredtone 3 years ago

What lies are we talking about here? No more misrepresentations than on any other media.

The fact that they accidently put Indonesia instead of Phillipenes is newsworthy?

The fact that theym down played Cheny's hunting accident? The fact that they questioned whether what Libby did was that wrong? The fact that they questioned if the Democrats knew about the intimate instant messages but kept it to ruin his and other republicans' chances of re-election (rather obvious conclusion and ample evidence has risen to show the truth in that)

Just not much of a story here in my opinon

Just to name a few

Reporting Scooter Libby found not guilty when he was indeed found guilty

Labeling Mark Foley as a democrat instead of a republican TWICE after he was found to be a pedophile

Reporting civil war in Iraq wasn't true

Making ridiculous headlines like

"Could 9/11 have been avoided if Moussaoui was tortured?"
"Whats the fuss about torturing people who want us dead"
"best way to win the war on terror, boycott Europe"

Sure many media outlets have a slant to some extent but Fox goes way over the deep end.

I dont see that you or Larry C Johnson have any valid points.
Especially with nothing more than screenshots.

So, Screenshots can explain the total inner working of a network and their agenda?

So now asking questions or bringing up debate on multiple sides of an issue makes you bias??

Puleeez!

These screenshots are not meant to "explain the total inner workings of a network and their agenda." It's just showcasing a compilation of some of the many acts by FOX to purposely mislead and outright lie to their viewers. These topics have been well discussed in the past.

So now asking questions or bringing up debate on multiple sides of an issue makes you bias??
Multiple sides? Your kidding right. FOX is probably the most one sided news network (if you want to call it that) I have ever seen. I'm sure many news stations are a little biased one way or the other but FOX is the only station that purposely misleads viewers with lies to push their own agenda.

The labeling of Foley as a Democrat not once but TWICE after he was found to be a pedophile is a perfect example. Or calling Obama "Osama" etc.. Funny they NEVER make these mistakes any other time and only seem to do it when it makes the democrats look bad. There was even a leaked internal FOX memo that pretty much said "slant the news and force the facts to come to the conclusions they want"

shredder, I love ya man, and I love the "Fonz"

I guess it's all a matter of how we look at things, I just see it different. But respect your view.

I'll just leave you with this, because I thought it was funny since you brought it up.

Okay, first off... that was the charge that Libby WASN'T found guilty of... 4 out of 5... and it was in a series of graphics, the 4 others said what he was found guilty of. This was picked up by Newshounds and made into a pretend story... taking a graphic out of context to make FNC look bad, but it is blatently false and misleading to say this is bias.

Foley... please. How many times has someone been labeled the wrong party. Someone in the graphics dept. made a mistake... personally (on a tour) I saw someone fired for forgetting to change a graphic to the appropriate date... so I'm sure this was just a typo, and someone got an earfull (or fired) for it.

And Iraq as a CIVIL WAR is an opinion! To make it seem like that's a duh... is evidence of your own bias.

This website is a joke, put out by another FOX Hater... and politics asside, if you hate on FOX for these reasons, you have to hate on all the other networks for the same mistakes.
