Stupid vaccination scare propaganda is stupid. Let a child (or a puppy or a kitten) die because the parents (or owners) denied to treat it it with "diseased monkey flesh" and watch the media jump at them. I'm against flu vaccination because I think it doesn't help stopping a relatively harmless disease that can mutate anytime. Vaccination in general does save millions of lives though. Those people simply lost perspective because they're off too well themselves.

However SC, Flu is no harmless disease. Every year in the US alone there are 100,000 hospitalizations and 20,000 deaths.

At my age particularly I'll continue to opt for a flu shot.
