Senior woman is robbed of absolutely everything by her relatives
Senior woman is robbed of absolutely everything by her relatives
First she noticed her eyeglasses, her walker, and her purse were missing. Then realized her checking account and annuities were cleaned out. Then, her antiques, furniture, car, house, wedding photos, and even her personal identification were also all gone. picked by equinox 3 months ago

Greedy b***hes! There's a special place in Hell waiting for them. (Waiting, I hope, until after an extended time in prison.)

This happened to one of my elderly aunts, with her friends. Luckily our other family members caught them and had them return everything. Needless to say they were banished.

Hope these two get what's coming.

That's insane! How can someone do that? They must have some serious issues these two women.

I hope she gets them into a long prison sentence, all her stuff back and a lot of compensation money!

Unfortunately it's unlikely she'll ever get her stuff back. She'll be lucky if she ever gets the money those 2 made selling her possessions.

I want to print this out and put it in the door across the street.

A dear old lady who my MIL used to drive everywhere lived alone for yrs after her husband died. No kids. No heirs.

She fell one weekend and broke her hip. She fell on Friday and a Jehovah Witness knocked on the door and found her on SUNDAY. He saved her life.

She got better and came home. Then she fell again, although she had life alert.

She has cousins who live a few cities over who NEVER came over ever. They are there now to "help".

I watch when they are there. There were there on a day they said the house was broken into. But her next door neighbors noticed the door was left open, the cousins did not report it. They then said they "noticed things missing".

PD came out and said the house was not ransacked, there was not a thing out of place.

Diamond rings that were well hidden and a sack of gold coins worth 100G are recorded as stolen.

They are robbing her blind. I despise them.

Hubby said they will end up getting everything anyways. Just makes me mad that she is 94 and saved that stuff her whole life and people who never stopped by "care" now and are robbing her blind.

a*****es.

If he is referring to her will or them being next of kin that is no guarantee they would get anything. Stealing it from her they make sure they get something.

The other side of the scumbag thing is that it sounds like she will soon being placed in a home for elderly care. In which case the whole robbery may be staged to prevent the care center from getting the valuables.

I don't think it was staged to protect her assets. They did not report the "break in" our neighbors did, after the cousins were already at the property that day. No signs of forced entry in the house, per PD either. Even PD thinks it is the cousins doing the stealing, but unless my dear neighbor goes after them, nothing can be done.

My gut tells me that they have power of atty already and that they have wiggled their way into the will.

The oousins do not really appreciate us neighbors at all. One neighbor parks his car in her drive to make it look like someone is there. The cousins did not like that at all. It is in the back and out of the way. And that car was in the drive the day of the alleged break in.

They suck.

Relatives suck.

I should know, as I am a relative myself.
