How to make Google image search more useful - NSFW
Some people say Bing image search is far better than Google's. Well, I'd like to suggest an improvement idea for Google - this would make Google image search much more useful. picked by xdvx 3 months ago

Hey xdvx,

It is generally not accepted to post your own links in Plime. Please take a moment to read the FAQ (link on the right) and maybe this post:

That will explain how we work at Plime and what is accepted and what not.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask in the newcomers' thread in the forum.

Is there difference where I submit the content? I could use imgur service for that, this time I used sharenator. OK whatever just wanted to see what type of content is suitable for plime user base. Good luck guys, love to see plime growing.

It's not about where you submit the content, but the article you linked to is written by you, and posting that at Plime is a no-no. Plime is for posting interesting articles that you've found somewhere and that some people on Plime will enjoy reading and probably discussing.

So if there's some amazing article that someone else wrote on sharenator that happens to be something that most Plimates will enjoy, that's fine, but not if it's your own.

That being said, it's important to keep an eye out on the different sites used to post things. Some of them are almost automatically downvoted because they are known for their low-level content and stuff.

Hope this helps.

For the most part, no.

This would probably be more suited under the "images" tab. But it's probably inappropriate for that. There's some funny picture threads in the forum. Use those.

About Plime
Plime is an editable wiki community where users can add and edit weird and interesting links. Users earn karma when other users vote on their actions. The more karma you have, the more power you have at Plime.

So plime users shouldn't create content? How you get NEW original unique content here?

Of course feel free to create new content, just don't post it on Plime. If it's interesting and awesome enough, someone will find it and post it here.

The reason for this is simply because (like it was mentioned in the post I linked) too many people try to use Plime as a way to generate traffic to their sites, and that's not the idea here.

Plime isn't so big persona in social media world that people should try steal traffic from upcoming section here... I think Plime is better for testing content not for direct traffic. User base should decide what they like what they don't either it is my own content or Bob's. OK whatever next time I'll submit Bob's stolen content. Good luck

It has generally been decided upon by the Plime user base that personal links should not be posted.

You'll learn. No worries.

I don't think a tone like that will get you very far on Plime.

As for bob's "stolen" content; surely the fact that bob has posted it for all to see on the internet means that bob would quite like it to be seen?

Plime is not about promotion of anything. It is about sharing things we find interesting with like minded people.

Your first two posts were links to Sharenator and were your own content and you were told then exactly the same things as here.

Either you have a short memory or you're stubborn as hell.

I don't have the goal to get far on Plime. Digg is enough for me. I visit this website usually to get fresh content for digg. Sometimes I find cool unseen stuff here. Also Plime is good for content testing when you aren't sure if it's good or not.

I'm sorry but if all you use Plime for is to test your own content to see if it is Digg worthy then Plime is not for you. I, along with others will be downvoting your posts in order to delete your account.

You have clearly misunderstood the site.

While I don't necessarily think we should downvote your account to oblivion, I'd much rather see you get what this site is all about, and contribute properly, or even lurk and check other people's posts out. Whether it's for posting on Digg, or just for your own satisfaction, noone cares... At all.

But no, Plime is not for 'testing'.

Just for future reference, ANYTHING posted from sharenator from you will be deleted now with no comments. We're just wasting our time explaining things.
