That poor woman. What a tragedy.

Reiterates the importance of being a careful driver. That kid will carry this burden for the rest of his life.

That's terrible. I can't imagine making it to the altar only to find out that the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with passed away.

You say that like you've never done something similar. I'm a good driver, most of the time, but I've had my moments of not paying attention, running a red light NOT because I was in a hurry or drunk, just not paying enough attention. Is that wrong? Yes. But it's a horrible price to pay. Without knowing what was going on that resulted in him running the red light, I won't judge him as 'worthy' of carrying such a heavy burden.

What a brave young woman to stand up on her wedding day and memorialize the love of her life.

Police have not determined if Raynor was wearing his seat belt. He was taken to WakeMed where he later died.
and
A Raleigh man headed to breakfast with his groomsmen on his wedding day was killed after being ejected from the car he was riding in
I think it's safe to say that he wouldn't have been ejected if he had been wearing his seat belt. That's exactly what seat belts are meant to do.

Yes, this is a tragedy, but it might have been prevented had the groom worn his seat belt.

How about the third vehicle running the guy over?

That's pretty traumatic right there.

I'm not trying to be judgmental, but I don't think that taking someone else's life, even accidentally, is an act that a person should ever be able to forget.
