If this was such a problem, why did she renew her lease?

i call BS on these two. if you are that freaking sensitive to smoke then why would you move into a building where it's allowed? and six months after they discovered a problem they still chose to renew their lease? riiight. i think they're a couple of idiots looking for a payday.

No way could you smell cigarette smoke from a neighbor unless you had some kind of connected ventilation system. Money grubbers.

Tragluk and I are currently moving from the apartment we share to another one because of the tenants below us that smoke 24/7 we live in a house thats 2 apartments with shared heat and its so bad that we had to find someplace else to live.

My allergies wouldn't have lasted through the winter months with them downstairs.

eljay and I lived in an apartment where the previous tenants smoked profusely. They cleaned the carpets, painted the walls, etc. but every time we took a shower the smoke that permeated the walls would leach out and it was like we had showered in smoke. That lasted for about a year and the air was clean again, unless we just got used to it and still smelled like smoke.

My lovely neighbors just smoke out in the hallway. They wouldn't dare to light up in their own apartment. Sometimes the smoke is still in the air when I leave with my son. Ugh.

cigg smoke is nasty and seeps everywhere, I cant wait until ciggs are banned and everyone is forced to smoke E-cigs. its so much healthier for them and everyone around.
