As a person living in China, one of the top worst countries for denying people many civil liberties, I feel intensely paranoid. I cannot say anything about the government without fear of retaliation. The Chinese Firewall is a hassle and a source of paranoia.

I feel for people living with paranoia. In the US, I was oblivious to any surveillance. Maybe I was being watched, but that didn't affect me as much as the constant lack of freedom I have now.
