NASA ripped the moon a new one
NASA ripped the moon a new one
NASA made a double impact on the moon this morning as a rocket hull then a probe penetrated its surface. The new 'hole' is dead center in post pic.

Just wait until those little Moon Men retaliate! picked by meggysue 2 months ago

So did it work?
I thought they only had a split second to collect and send data, so it shouldn't take that long to process right?

EDIT
What if the moon only got moist because of the sudden penetration?

Right, $79 million really is quite low. Don't forget that we're at a point in time where earning a million dollars isn't anything special anymore for someone with a fairly well-paying job, and often is barely enough to buy a house of any real size in most major cities.

Add to that the fact that the probe crashed right next to the area where we plan to settle (right next to Malapert Mountain) and $79 million is definitely worth it.
