 Woman charged for splashing kids.
Woman charged for splashing kids.
Kerry Callard, 29, from UK could face prosecution for 'happy splashing'.
She was filmed accelerating down a hill before swerving to hit the puddle in front of the stunned schoolchildren waiting for a bus.
The incident was captured by passenger and Kerry's partner Alec Goff, 28, who provides a running commentary and screams 'that was brilliant! awesome'.
The video was posted on Youtube and Facebook, but removed later after the complaints. picked by dingbat 1 month ago

She showed really poor judgement there. She claims the kids wanted to be splashed, but she really should have known better.

hmmm...I saw the film
1. hard to judge if she accelerated
2. no doubt the commentary was brilliant
3. she was driving in her own lane

A normal person would've slowed down, but someday everyone will learn not to stand too close to the curb when there's that big a pool of water ...seriously, check out the car on the other side making at least as big a splash.

out of curiosity: how did you manage to conclude it was "poor judgment" if you haven't even seen the video?

At first I thought the vid was a pic.
Lighten up! Jeez! Concluding poor judgment based upon the article is enough...

Any driver who has ever driven through a puddle at high speed a lost control of their car for even a second or two would know why this is bad judgement.

It's scary stuff.

And is her story really that she met a bunch of kids while she was in her car, they asked her to splash them with her car, so she got a friend to grab a video camera and tape the whole thing?

The title should read "Driver Charged with reckless driving!" Btw, I personally think the driver and the guy commenting are f**kTARDS!

i'm sure her passenger wouldn't have found it to be very brilliant if she had hydroplaned into that group of people instead of merely splashing them.

also, 29 is just way too old to be d**king around with a car like a teenager. pathetic.
