Wait, so the school acted on an accusation and then when it was proved to be unfounded it revoked the action? As in, they acted responsibly? OMG THIS IS NEWS

Well, they shouldn't have suspended her in the first place.
So it wasn't responsibly.

These were not responsible actions.

These were brain dead actions of a non-thinking moron.

This is some Grade D bull right here! I bet you the student who made the accusation had something against the one who was suspended...high school drama taken to another level?

You think? Or were they clowning around? It doesnt say the student ratted them out, only that they stated it smelled like peppermint schnapps.

Random student "Oh man, that smells like peppermint schnapps"

Teacher "Schnapps?! Go to the principal!"

Principal "You're suspended!"

Being in Washington state I should take offense to that.
But it's hard to take someone seriously when they have their tongue in their nose.

True...kids often do things and don't think of the consequences. The principal and other faculty members should have actually used their brains and checked to see if there was any alcohol in the drink. Too many stories like this in the news these days. What's going on with adults in schools?

How come no has even questioned the fact that the girl was drinking coffee? I may be a little biased in my opinion here but there should be no reason a 14 yr-old needs a pick me up while in school and if she does there are bigger things here to question.

Why do we feel the need to scrutinize every little thing people do. Really, how is this news to anybody who's not involved?
