Horses can kill dogs. I've owned several horses that were flat out lethal to an unwary dog--or even a wary one on an off day. He knows his animals, so if he says they're playing, I'll go along...But I know that's not always the case.

knowing your animals behavior is key... but animals are animals and are still unpredictable and wild at heart. It would make me nervous.
