I better not let my mom know about this site. Actually, I don't think it would matter, I think she just goes all the time to get out of the house.

this is awesome but also not good at the same time, the thrill for me when it comes to thrift stores is diving into the racks and seeing what it is i can find. its like a big treasure hunt.

but....this is still f**king awesome!!!

The thrill of thrifting is finding that hidden gem. The odds diminish greatly when the interweb is looking. At the same time, it gives a store with a good cause a chance to make more money.

This is great in that it's making more money for the charity, but I agree with a couple of previous comments... I love sorting through racks and finding that special item, not having to bid it out with others on the web.
I found a pair of Calvin Klein jeans the other day at a local op-shop, for $10! Doubt you'd get that kind of bargan on this site.

i work at goodwill. we recently got to go to the main plant in grandville mi, and see where they keep all the things on the site. i could have spent HOURS looking through all the cool stuff.

you would not believe some of the things people donate!

Do they steal or buy for themselves at cost most of the good stuff before it ever reaches the auction shelves like the fine employees at Goodwill retail outlets do, as well?
